The Unique Design of the KD StarShade was invented and patented by KD Kanopy. They remain the sole manufacturer of this tent design. Six elegant arches add visual appeal. Each arch is 7.5’ high, offering ease of entry. The KD StarShade tent is a tension fabric structure supported by a single center pole and ground up tension.
At 19.5’ high, the KD StarShade 800 requires a 55 foot diameter set-up area and can seat up to 88 people at banquet tables.
At 16.5’ tall, the KD StarShade 400 spans a 43 foot diameter. It seats approximately 44 people at banquet tables.
The actual covered space of the KD StarShade 800 is 800 square feet. Actual covered space of the KD StarShade 400 is 400 square feet. The actual footprint of these tents is larger than the covered area.
Either KD StarShade can quickly be set up outdoors in approximately 15 minutes. These tents require 30 inch ground spikes (provided) to be used to support the tension structure. The KD StarShade tents fold down into 3 carry bags to fit in the trunk of most standard vehicles.
